Sciton® Laser Skin Resurfacing

At Regional Skin and Laser Center, we offer several treatments created by Sciton, a top manufacturer of medical and aesthetic lasers. The products developed by this leading brand were designed to safely enhance the appearance of the skin with laser hair removal, skin tightening, and laser skin resurfacing.

Our skin and laser specialists are committed to treating your skin with the latest laser technology available. If your skin is affected by wrinkles, pigmentation issues, sun damage, scars, or other cosmetic concerns, one of our Sciton laser skin resurfacing treatments may be an ideal option.

How Does Sciton® Laser Skin Resurfacing Work?

Laser skin resurfacing is traditionally defined as the deep stimulation of the dermis, or middle skin layer, using concentrated beams of light energy. The energy triggers the production of new collagen, which causes the epidermis, or outermost skin layer, to shed blemishes and revitalize itself. Sciton’s laser skin resurfacing methods are renowned for their consistently successful effects and minimally-invasive procedures.

In addition to our Sciton lasers, we can also employ the AcuPulse™ Fractional CO2 Laser or Fraxel® laser. One of our experienced skin and laser specialists can determine your best laser skin resurfacing option after a thorough examination of your skin type and unique concerns.

What Kind of Sciton® Laser Skin Resurfacing Options are Available?

One of the most popular non-surgical procedures worldwide, laser skin resurfacing can be performed using a number of different devices and techniques. Sciton’s innovative laser skin resurfacing techniques include:

MicroLaserPeel®

Often producing exceptional results in one to three minimally-invasive sessions, a MicroLaserPeel treatment can improve the tone and texture of the skin while reducing the appearance of sun damage and mild lines. MicroLaserPeel is performed with a device called the Contour TRL, which stands for “tunable resurfacing laser.” The Contour TRL is unique in that it can target deep lines and wrinkles around the lips and eyes. Its powerful erbium YAG energy can be customized to address your specific degree of wrinkles and scarring. Patients are typically able to return to work immediately after a 30-to-40-minute MicroLaserPeel session.

HALO®

The only Hybrid Fractional Laser to combine ablative and non-ablative wavelengths, the HALO device can dramatically reduce signs of aging, acne scars, enlarged pores, and more. It is known for its ability to adapt to a patient’s skin temperature in order to safely and precisely fulfill their aesthetic goals. Patients often only need one or two treatments to achieve optimal results.

Each of Sciton’s laser skin resurfacing methods has been proven to be efficient, effective, and long-lasting. To schedule an initial skin rejuvenation consultation, we encourage you to contact Regional Skin and Laser Center today.
